Minimum wages in India
Central Sphere minimum wage and Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) rates, effective 1 April 2026, as notified by the Chief Labour Commissioner (Central), Ministry of Labour & Employment (order dated 30 March 2026).
These are Central Sphere rates, applicable to scheduled employments under central government jurisdiction. State-sphere employments are notified separately by each state's own Labour Department and are not covered here. Always confirm the applicable rate against the official CLC notification before using it for statutory compliance.
