Smart & automated employee onboarding
Vergado replaces onboarding paperwork with document scanning and auto-extraction. Employees upload Aadhaar, PAN or a cancelled cheque, and Vergado reads and fills in the Aadhaar number, PAN number, bank account number and IFSC code automatically. It also runs automated verifications — bank account, PAN and Aadhaar validity, previous-employer history and court-case checks — so a PAN card is verified against official databases in real time.

Every payroll run stays aligned with TDS, EPF, ESI, PT and bonus rules, with every report, challan and payslip kept audit-ready.
Flexible salary structures & policies
Configure distinct, rule-based salary policies for white-collar, blue-collar, field staff, consultants and commission-based employees within the same system, including retainership and commission-based payouts. Salary components can be tied to KPIs, attendance or performance metrics and calculated automatically each cycle, with per-head logic such as pro-rating by fixed days, skipping Sundays/holidays, or releasing pay only after attendance thresholds are met.
Attendance, leave, shifts & holidays
Attendance can be captured via biometric machine integration, the Vergado app (geo-fencing, office Wi-Fi detection, email presence verification), or Excel/API uploads, with manual marking for exceptions and day-specific rules for out-of-office or travel-based work. It syncs in real time with payroll, leave and shift data and layers validations to prevent fake check-ins. Leave types can be configured per employee group with rule-based approvals; shifts can be fixed, rotational or split; and holiday calendars can be built branch-wise or region-wise with optional and mandatory holidays.
Approval workflows & salary disbursement
Multi-level approval workflows follow your org hierarchy, with approvals available through the Vergado web portal or one-click email links, plus conditional logic to skip levels or auto-approve under a threshold. Salary drafts can be sent to employees for review and acknowledgement before final release, with HR able to see every flagged discrepancy in one dashboard. Once approved, salaries are transferred automatically to employee bank accounts through integrated payment gateways.
Tax & statutory compliance automation
Vergado automates TDS deductions and challans, EPF/ESI/PT calculations and payments, Form 16 and salary tax statements, income-tax slab and regime detection/optimization, and bonus, gratuity, leave-without-pay and other statutory registers — with automated monthly and quarterly filings, a compliance dashboard, and downloadable registers and challans.
Tax-saving employee benefits & the Vergado Card
Employees can opt into fully compliant, tax-saving benefits — such as driver's salary, telecom/internet, uniform, meal, books & periodicals, and learning & development — that increase in-hand income without increasing CTC. The Vergado Card is a company-branded card that loads these benefits with auto-tagged, audit-proof spend, plus custom limits by team, grade or month that auto-stop once a cap is reached. The same card also powers expense management and advances/petty cash, so no physical cash is needed.
Automated expense management
Expense reports are auto-generated from corporate-card transactions, matched against uploaded bills to prevent duplicates or fraud, and routed through smart approval rules based on amount, category, vendor or employee role — with zero manual entry.
SecureX: travel & field employee tracking
